In the summer of 2014 my husband Ryan and I had both left our jobs. We had been married for 5 months and had each been respectively successful in our separate Food and Beverage Management careers. In a cannonball moment we kindled Native Family, the concept(and quite large idea) that I had been dreaming and working on for a few years.
Since its spark, Ryan and I have worked tirelessly to implement positive work cultures and responsible business practices into our communities. We butcher. We harvest. We set up and break down. We delicately and uniquely create every menu that we cater to each person, because we believe that the experience of food is special, unique, and intensely powerful. We get to tell a story, and showcase our incredible community of farmers that create these insane products that we consider ourselves lucky to work with.
We are dedicated to creating approachably priced and completely local products because we will not be able to fix our broken food systems without them. We are dedicated to collaboration, to the love of labor, community service, and being intentional about everything we do. We are proud and priviledged to get our hands dirty creating a product that people and their families can trust.
